Unique hotel. Great to stay a bit in a Viking Hotel in Iceland. Right on harbourfront, convenient to public transportation. Lots of restaurant choices, plus unique Viking restaurant on location. Picturesque walking trail along the water across the street.

We stayed in the new portion of the hotel and actually couldn’t believe how clean our room was! It was so refreshing. Breakfast was great as well and the staff were very friendly. As a host myself I really appreciated the professionalism.

Hotel was so nice! Was brand new. Seemed like my room had never been used. Even smelled new. Smart tv was nice for streaming. The only hotel we stayed in to have streaming capabilities. Restaurant on the property was very good! Convenient to downtown and restaurants. Highly recommend. The best hotel of our stay.

We only stayed here 1 night but it was a nice stay. Staff were very friendly. The included breakfast was very nice (although the coffee cups were very small so had to go back for multiple refills lol) Bed was nice and comfy too. They did have a hot tub but it was freezing, sauna looked nice but we didn’t use it.

The hotel is nicely maintained and in a beautiful town. The issue is if you do not have your own transportation, it becomes expensive using taxi to go to Reykjavík for access to tours and sightseeing. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast is a light offering but nice
