"I would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the hot tub (small, but we had it to ourselves in the early evening). The beds were comfortable, and it was quite. I told them we would be leaving before breakfast, and they graciously packed us sandwiches to go, ready at the front desk. The restaurant/bar is decorated nicely, and they had live music. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived, but most folks left by 8:15pm. "

"It was okay for short term stay. Note that the number of bathrooms are limited and shared co-ed. My room was clean and was worth the price I paid."

"The breakfast selection was excellent and delicious! The front desk staff were very helpful and were always ready to answer any questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend Hotel Vellir. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the location is excellent. It offers easy access to the highway towards Reykjavik or to Keflavik airport, making everyday road trips a breeze."

"It's just across the street from BSI which is very convenient. However, when we arrived we need to make a local phone call for waiting the staff to open the hotel (even though there was another staff inside and it's freezing outside)... We'd booked for ensuit bathroom and we have a really, really big room in return...so comfy"

"Although the room is very simple but there are extra WC and shower room on each floor so very convenient. It is very close to the supermarket within walking distance. The shared kitchen on the main level is a big plus which we did not expect."
