"Staff are great here, our butler Jean-Claude was awesome. Locations is great too right on the middle of Bavaro beach. Barmen at the main lobby bar were great too. We had some minor maintenance issues with our room, but once they discovered that they couldn’t fix it, we were given an alternate. Food was generally very good, but Italian (though better than last year) was still jus ok, but the Japanese, Steak house and French restaurants were very good, again staff friendliness and attentiveness was excellent. We would definitely return."

"The pools were very enjoyable, sometimes it was hard to find spots on the chairs that weren’t all ready claimed. Our room didn’t have a ocean view but it was secluded and able to use our jet tub "

"We took our two boys out of Canada for the very first time to Royalton Splash Punta Cana. There were things that were great and also not so great!! I found the trip to be on the expensive side as it is, and upon arrival the check in lady demanded we upgraded to “diamond club” just to have a room with two beds which was absolutely absurd. She said rooms depended on arrival even tho I had booked 6 months in advance. They also told us we couldn’t access anything on the resort including casino, beach restaurants, etc unless we were diamond club. Which is completely false as we accessed all without upgrading. On the brighter side of things. The room was always incredibly clean, the housekeepers were fantastic. Also lots of activity for the whole family. Always somewhere to get a snack for the family. Our youngest is 5 and was OBSESSED with kids club, he never wanted to leave and that was great. Also shuttle was super convenient for getting to the water park and beach. Without diamond club you can still have a great vacation with your family. Just don’t be surprised when they charge you extra fees for restaurants and treat you like garage if you aren’t diamond club lol"

It’s perfect for kids and easy for parents to supervise. • Cleanliness: The rooms were always kept very clean. Cons: • Reception: No welcome drinks and unhelpful over the phone. They often tell you to walk to the lobby rather than answering questions. • Maintenance: Housekeeping frequently forgot to refill coffee, the mini-fridge, or shower gel. • Bar/Room Service: Bartenders struggled with basic drinks. Room service is prompt by day but unreliable at night. • Beach: Extremely crowded every day. Summary: Great for foodies and families, but the service needs a major upgrade. Be prepared for some "DIY" troubleshooting with the staff"
