We got the swim out room I loved the privacy we got when we didn’t want to be in the main pool. The food was rarely ever hot which made the taste of it subpar. Diamond club you get room service which was nice. Cleaning staff did well maintaining the property. Our butler Jhoenmy was amazing, he helped us with excursions, transportation, luggage pick up and drop off, reservations. You name it and he was on it. Must try the steak house and hibachi for dinner. Dorado for breakfast.

A lot of pools, not crowded, lots of beach seating and very friendly staff. Our butler Miguel handled our dinner reservations and ensured we had anything we needed. Looking forward to coming back!

Excellent Stay

I really enjoyed my stay, I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. All personnel made us feel comfortable throughout our stay! I couldn't find a bad moment the whole week. Jennifer who works at the Hideaway went up and beyond making me and my wife comfortable. The food was excellent my room was immaculate on a daily basis. This was my first all inclusive trip and I enjoyed it!

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, food was ok but I don’t expect fabulous with an all-inclusive. The staff were either great or couldn’t care less. Overall we had a nice stay but wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

I really enjoyed this hotel! There are a lot of activities and the food is delicious. The food and drinks here are top notch. I’ve been to many resorts in Punta Cana this one by far has been the best. Will return in the near future!

Something important to know about the property is the Royalton Resorts are all bunched up together, and Hideaway is simply one specific building with its own pool and bar, and also access to a restaurant for Hideaway guests only. The Royalton property is quite huge as a whole, so there is much to see. If you plan on doing an excursion that isn’t offered/sponsored through Royalton, then realize you’ll have to walk a majority of the way back to the front of the property. We had a group of 30, some of which were elderly, and that was not expected, so you see the issue. Other than that, most staff are very nice and wish to give you wonderful service. I couldn’t suggest the hydrotherapy session in the spa enough, definitely prepared me for my travels back home.

I had a great stay at Hideaway. The staff made us feel very welcomed and did everything to make sure we were comfortable. There is so many activities to do everyday so you will never get bored. A lot of people have complained how Hideaway is a small area for adults only whereas Royalton itself is for family - I didn’t find this to be an issue. In fact, I think the fact that there were families staying here made it more fun, considering the amount of events that are available for all ages. All in all, this is the best resort I have stayed it. Special shout out to Vibes Team, the housekeeping and front desk staff for being excellent!!

The property was nice. The place was relaxing and felt like there was something to do always, never a bored moment. Estela from housekeeping made our room everyday and went above and beyond on the presentation and always making sure everything is to perfection.

The most amazing staff. You couldn’t ask for better service and kinder people. My only real complaint is the beach. I wish I was made aware before going that I needed water shoes with all of the rocks everywhere.

This is a very confusing property. We were staying at the Hideaway via adult only portion of the hotel.. There is no real separation between the adult only and the rest of the property. Basically it’s a wall that separates the pool and then a separate area for lounge chairs for the beach.. aside from one dining facility. All other dining facilities are mixed with the rest of the resort. I arrived late. I was given my room and when I got there, there was a musty smell. The bathroom had mold, and the glass shower door covered in water spots. Luckily they had a room available and they made the switch this room. The bathroom was cleaner. However you can tell that it’s dated paint chips all over the shower railing. The towels are old. My room had no hand towels and a wash cloths until two days after I arrived. My friend asked for hand soap, and as I write, this still have not gotten in their room . The furniture is also dated and looks very used. Given that this was marketed as an upscale luxury autograph collection, Hotel I am very disappointed. The saving grace is the kindness and friendliness of the staff..

I thought we were getting a King bed with a sofa. We ended up getting 2 queens . Not that big of a deal but still not what we expected . The resort is beautiful. Our Butler was phenomenal. Some bartenders were kinda snobby, but overall good experience

Diamond club is worth the money ! Lenny our Butler was awesome !! Food was great in restaurants on sight, not so much at splash , buffet was average staff in buffet area not so pleasant, acted as if everything agitated them . Diamond club beach and pool area was awesome ! Francisco our beach staff went above and beyond for us ! Always reserved the best beach chairs and kept the drinks and fresh fruit coming !

The reason why I am giving the hotel two stars is because my husband and I paid for a romantic dinner that we had horrible experience and service, all we got was a salad and a bottle of why after forty minutes of waiting and we left after another forty minutes because we did not get anything else. I spoke to management to receive a refund and nothing has been done about it. Aside from the experience the hotel is clean, the people are very nice, the beach is beautiful. There are a variety of restaurants and cuisines. The water park and escape room (which is an extra cost) were a lot of fun. There is also a souvenir store right outside the hotel property. One of the downsides is that the mini bar in the room does not get refilled.

The property was quiet and safe and very beautiful. What I didn’t like about the property was 1) There were children in the adults only area 2) It was difficult to make dining reservations because they were always booked so we didn’t get to enjoy any of the cuisine on the property 3) We booked a luxury room and it wasn’t luxury 4) We ordered room service and the food arrived cold and not eatable. 5) There could have been more activities on the property.

We had a very relaxing stay at hideaway the staff in the restaurants and all bars were amazing very attentive. Unfortunately the front desk staff were not very helpful. Our luggage was never delivered to our room so my husband had to go and bring it to us after 30 minutes of waiting and calls to the front desk were less than helpful as we were left on hold forever without any answers. Otherwise it was a very relaxing vacation after that incident!

Hideway at Royalton exceeded my expectations. The hideway is thirty minutes from the airport the ride is pleasant. I was helped by Harrison and Carolina for check-in. Estela in housekeeping is wonderful, she respected my privacy, she and her team always greeted me with a smile. I recommend going the extra mile and paying extra for the Diamond club, an added bonus is a butler. My butler Carolina stole my heart, she is kind. Lovely and attentive. Carolina took care of all our needs including sticking my room with whatever we needed. We were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Everyone greets you with a smile and is willing to go the extra mile expecting nothing in return The buffet is great, drinks flow freely. I plan on returning next year with my family. Thank you for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for me.

Hotel & pools are beautiful. Most staff very nice. Michael Jackson show & spa were amazing! We stayed in late june & beach was full of seaweed. Had we researched this, we would not have went. Every day they rake the seeweed into piles, then push them back into the ocean. The smell was horrible, like rotten fish. We paid to go to Sanoa island & Macao beach which were nicer. The worst part of the hotel is the dining situation which the staff really dont care about. We had a room w/4 people & we traveled w/family in another room of 4. We NEVER got to eat dinner together. You must have cell service bc everyday no matter if your snorkeling, diving, riding a horse, whatever..you must stop & get on your phone at 5pm to book your dinner for the next day. Diamond members get first bookings, hideaway guests (which was us) get 2nd opportunities & we almost always only had options to eat at 9 or 945pm. We begged to be able to eat w/the rest of our family to no avail. HOWEVER the restaurant would ALWAYS have many open tables of 4 or 8! our family absolutely could have ate together! I took pics of all the open tables yet was told repeatedly they could not allow the other 4 people to dine in the same restaurant with us. They have all kinds of people trying to sell you excursions or sign u up for rewards but no one to help book your dinners for the week. I think they prefer everyone to go to buffet. I thought it would be easier ro eat at the 11 rest. They advertise. Aruba & cancun better
