"Let’s start off with the good the WEATHER was great 7 days of sun. But let’s get to the good part. This place needs a major upgrade to the rooms.. furniture outdated and not so clean We had the platinum room or section or whatever they called it .. the PBG restaurant was EXCELLENT lol. The other places were terrible.. food trucks are good for fries and cheese sticks. The Japanese restaurants are terrible and made me sick. The trolly service is so slow and they need more to accommodate the big property, at times it’s a 30 minute wait ..but back to the rooms we literally fought off mosquitoes every day in the room all over the place. We called the front desk and they sprayed something and it was like toothpaste to the mosquitoes they kept coming. We killed at least 300 during our stay and I took pics of them dead all over the walls and room. Room 5413 Needs to be cleaned and redone because it’s mosquitoes blood splattered everywhere.. so after all that we woke up to a half dollar sized ROACH … I actually saved it and took pics for them to see .. I was ready to leave but we had 1 more day.. It’s 1 thing to see em outside but in the room I cannot. For $2500 dollars US not including flights $3600 to fight mosquitos and find roaches. This was a HORRIBLE RESORT .. 0 out of 10. The good didn’t outweigh the bad. Bad was just bad. Of and let’s not forget the lady just walking into our room without knocking or anything.. and our ceiling started leaking .pics to prove it NEVER AGAIN"

" We really enjoyed our stay at Tropical Deluxe Resort. The property is beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Yelenny and the the massagist were very helpful and offer a great customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food was solid with good variety at the buffet, and the a la carte restaurants were a nice touch. We really didn’t like the Brazilian Restaurant but Drinks were strong and service at the bars was fast and friendly. The pools and beach were well kept. Only reasons it’s not 5 stars: dinner reservations were hard to get, and some areas of the resort could use updating. WiFi was spotty in our room. Overall, great value for an all-inclusive. Would come back and recommend it to friends/family wanting a relaxing getaway without any major issues. "

"Ocean Blue & Sand is an amazing place to stay!! The steak house and the Japanese restaurant were out of this world! The staff and all the local people were so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going to this resort!"

"Restaurants are good. Just the reservation system needs to be improved - you need to line up at the booking desk between 9am-4pm to make reservation. Many guests don't look at the menu before lining up. They browsed through the menus at the desk one by one and then decide which restaurant to reserve on which night. This makes the wait time very long. They should implement reservation using their Melia App. And you may not be able to go to certain restaurants during your stay because their capacity and open hours are not enough to fulfill all the requests. The nightly entertainment was a big plus for our stay. However the day programs are not always on time. Sometimes you just wonder if it will "happen" or has been cancelled. The resort has a great courtesy allowing us who have a late flight to use their facilities and buffet after checking out. We enjoy ourselves a couple more hours before heading to the airport."

"If possible,stay away from the casino. Seems very sketchy to me. Buffets service was not very good. Ala carte restaurant's were much better. Pools were very well maintained. Our concierge Cesar was a delight to work with, he made all our dinner reservations before we checked in to to the high demand when you get here..Look for William at the pool bar behind the lobby. He will remember your name and your drink of choice."
