Room had everything we needed and was a perfect spot to stop and refresh ourselves after Tokyo. There were lots of thoughtful touches and amenities, the hot spring was perfect and the Fuji views were incredible. Lots of nice goodies in the fridge too and a good location to explore the Hakone area.
Genuinely one of my favorite stays. The view was incredible. The morning of our stay, we wake up walk out to the slider and have an amazing view of a calm lake with mt Fuji in the background. The appliances and projector were of great quality, and the private onsen/sauna combo was perfect. Would stay again next time we are in tokyo.
The place was amazing and clean. The private onsen in the room was an added bonus. Will stay again if I’m ever in the area.
If you’re looking for night life, this isn’t the place as it’s remote and everything is closed by 18:00.
A very clean and cosy room with a nice view of the fuji mountain. The private onsen was awesome.
The check in was a bit tricky. There’s no lobby area if you arrive early. We had to wait for almost 2 hours in the pouring rain before we can check in at 3pm.
Clean and amazing views. They have drinks and snacks there for you which is great.
Check in was fine but had to call a few times to get through to verify my ID (there’s no staff on site, so virtual check in with codes to access the room).
Great location and would definitely recommend. You are paying a premium in April for the views but as a special treat it’s so worth it. We sat in the private onsen and sauna for hours!
Our favorite stay during our 2 week Japan trip. Incredible amenities (hot spring, sauna, heated floors, projector), amazing views of Hakone Shrine and Fuji, and a smooth check-in process. The bus stop, 7/11, and pirate ship dock are a 2-min walk away and were incredibly convenient.
