Beautiful location, very comfortable, excellent service and good food. The room, facilities and grounds are beautiful. It is a little remote so a car or fairly pricey taxis are needed as busses tend to be a bit slow and complicated to get anywhere. We wished we had staid longer.

A beautiful luxurious retreat!

Loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! Great location, welcoming and accommodating staff (they shipped the laptop we left behind to our hotel in Tokyo the following day), fantastic meals (breakfast, dinner and treats) and thoughtful amenities deserve at least a couple of nights stay. Thermal springs are well situated and super relaxing and the area around the hotel is beautiful. I would give this hotel 11 out of 10!

Overnight get away

From the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The setting is beautiful and the staff are efficient and friendly. This really is a retreat and is very zen-like. The rooms are comfortable and cosy. The food was exceptional and prepared by the chefs in front on you. The onsen was amazing and opening hours to use were great. Would highly recommend

This hotel is beautiful! We ended up booking an extra night because we loved the area so much. Hakone is a beautiful town full of nature. It’s so green all around. The hotel has a great bakery coffee area where they hand make their breads. There is a bus stop down the end of the road which takes you everywhere. Not a lot of dining options in the town but the hotel has a great little restaurant.
