"Absolutely amazing stay here!! Beautiful hotel, friendly, very helpful staff, incredible view, Great restaurants in area ( favourite being Yak n Yeti!!!)! Close to Castle, the Igreja Do Sao Jorge, great coffee shops, Fado in nearby restaurants….. and so much more!!!! Friendly neighbourhood!!! Loved this ancient area known as the Alfama district. So many beautiful walks and many things to discover down the twisting cobble streets"

"This place is awesome. Beautiful breakfast set up, welcoming staff, nice outdoor courtyard, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, nice looking room & bathroom. Really maybe the best place I’ve stayed. The room is small, but it was great for just the 2 of us. The room is so nicely decorated. You have your own ac unit in the room. Everything was very stylish. The wall paper, tile, headboard etc. Much nicer than staying at a typical big chain. "

"Couldn’t have been more perfect. The service and attention to detail were impeccable. My room was spacious and thoughfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and I have to mention the sheets and towels smelled amazing. The breakfast has a lot of options, very well done. My stay here was pretty much perfect. The staff were friendly, attentive, and gave five star service. My only note here is that the Uber drivers dont come at the front of the hotel, the street is considered private and tables...

"The hotel its self was clean , however we were disappointed in our situation that transpired. We arrived with knowing we could up grade , when I asked to upgrade to a 2nd bed we were told we were already up graded without our knowledge to a different view, so we had no choice in the matter . Now I made the mistake of accidentally not paying attention to ( how many people to add), however I did choose a room that had an option for 2 double beds or one queen so in high sight upon arrival did not...

"Accidentally put me in nicer room, had to move to a room in front of elevator-lots of chatter outside my door. Sunday dinner was mediocre. The staff was wonderful. I am very impressed that the owners restored this fabulous building. It adds beauty and sophistication to a troubled party of town. Overall: conveniently located. Plaza side room for peace and quiet."

"Sehr zentral. Der Eingang liegt quasi in einem Schuhgeschäft, dass war etwas seltsam. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und sonst ok. Druckknopf für die Toilettenspühlung war nicht fest angebracht. Der Fensterrahmen hatte abblätterung und war aufgeschmiergelt und nicht neu gestrichen."

"Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Lisbon! The hosts were extremely attentive and made our check-in process effortless. They sent a detailed WhatsApp message with clear instructions on how to enter the property and how to get there — which was incredibly helpful, as the apartment is located at the top of a hill. Their tips about the nearby elevators were much appreciated and made arriving with our bags much easier! We thought the location was incredible — just a stone’s throw from the castle and...
