"Hotel is nice and clean"

"The staff were very kind and welcoming. They helped us store our bags and get breakfast as we arrived early. The only downside was the cleanliness. The view from the bedroom was beautiful! The dishwasher was filthy when we arrived and we tried to turn it on the clean it but could not turn it on. The washing machine also did not look clean. Some of the furniture is stained and the bathroom connected to the bedroom was run down and washing faucet was not secure on the wall."

"Really enjoyed our stay, the peacocks were noisy and beautiful and we even enjoyed that! The hotel is beautiful and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful! A bit of a walk uphill if you come back with a taxi or Uber but nothing to complain about. We will be back soon!"

Realmente adoramos, fica próximo ao Castelo de São Jorge, próximo a Praça do Comércio, a Catedral da Sé, a Igreja de Santo António (local de nascimento dele), realmente indico demais este hotel. Estão de PARABÉNS muito acima da média da EUROPA em termos de recepção. Apenas uma indicação (colocar um Pão de Queijo no café da Manhã). "Excellent facility it makes you wanting to come back"

"Basic hotel. Rooms clean but small. Bathroom in need of a little maintenance. No bar and outside courtyard space very disappointing. Didn’t take breakfast at €15 each - instead used the excellent ‘Breakfast’ lovers, a few minutes walk away. Staff on front desk friendly and helpful when asked. Hotel in very good central location, but on a steep hill. Very quite within the hotel, except the rumble of the 28e tram."

"Our room was lovely with a beautiful view and we had an easy check-in. The only negatives were the hotel was described as having a roof top and showed pictures of it but it’s only for one specific guest room. We also were not able to enjoy the breakfast as it didn’t start until 8am (on a Monday) and we had to leave by 7:30 to catch a train. It’s at the top of a steep street so be aware of it. Certainly a nice place for the night."

"Great view from our terrace. Comfortable room. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Hike up steps to the hotel from center of Lisbon is brutal! Expedia says 2 minute walk to Castle. Not true. Is another 15-20 minute hike uphill. Uber driver didn't know where hotel was. Just dropped us off a block away and said "use GPS.""

"The room was very spacious. Hotel is very unique in it location. Be aware that you need to get a specific driver to get up very steep Hill and restaurants closed down around the hotel pretty early. It turns into a ghost town in the evening, quite different from the day!"

"Very spacious 2 BR, 2BA apartment with conveniences such as washer/dryer, full kitchen, Nespresso machine, air conditioning, etc. The building is well-located in an area that was quiet at night, but within walking distance of more active neighborhoods and is walkable to historical sites. "The hotel and amenities were amazing, but the staff made this stay INCREDIBLE. SO friendly and accommodating. My son left a few beloved stuffed animals behind, and the hotel staff found them and shipped them to us at home in the USA within a week! Not only that, they sent us a personalized laminated book where they wrote about the plushies' adventures and photoshopped them into various locations around portugal. "Hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location! I believe it is fairly new or recently renovated. So many restaurants and shops right outside the front door. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room is well appointed. Plenty of electrical outlets. Great lighting. Has espresso machine, hot water kettle, coffee and tea. Refrigerator with some stocked drinks and snacks.
