"Beautiful place to stay. Best feature was the iron outdoor tub! Full home with plenty of space. Step stairs. Two raised beds and two futons on the floor. Which were a little hard for me. And I love sleeping on a rock. But it didn’t matter at the end of a long walking day, a soak in the tub, sleep came Wally enough. Washer on site, no dryer, just a clothes rack which was very handy. Full fridge and microwave/airfyer. Nice fragrance bath soaps. Small shower room. But nice and hot water....

"Wonderful, great location. Private cold and hot baths!"

"Lost items in the room. Can't believe this happen in Japan."

"Hanare Kyoto worked perfectly for my family of 4. The location was ideal - 5 min walk to the Kyoto train station, but set back on a quiet street and very private. "Such a great hotel. Had washing machine in the room. Lovely staff so so nice and sweet. Right across temple that we can enter for free and very close to Kyoto station as well. Great location and overall very clean. I do recommend 11/10 I loved this stay"

"Great location, lovely hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit."

"Good staff "

"Very close to Kyoto station. Loved the entrance. Hotel staff was very accommodating. As with the other hotel we stayed at in Tokyo space is an issue. Traveling with several pieces of luggage it is a real challenge. Add in umbrellas to dry out. We managed but stubbed our toes a few times. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was excellent."
