"We stayed at Clayton for our daughters 3rd birthday weekend, and when we got to the room there was a little surprise for our daughter, balloons and banners. This made ours and especially our daughters day. Thank you so much for that. Apart from this, the breakfast, the room and service are exceptional. Staff have been very accommodating to our requests. "Excellent location next to the train station Upon arrival we was greeted by a very cheerful friendly receptionist called Dean that went out of his way to make us welcome and he upgraded our room which made our stay wonderful. The room was lovely and a great view of the city . The bed was so comfy which aided a good nights sleep "

"For the price paid... OK. Stopped here several times before and this was the worst experience. The images on the website didn't accurately represent the room, (paid extra for a larger room) which was a letdown from the start. But it was alright. Upon arrival, I noticed the kitchen area had dirty marks all over the gloss cabinets, as well as long black hairs on the floor in the lounge, which suggested a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning process. "Parts of the hotel are being renovated at the moment, but this didnt effect our stay, it was peaceful, clean and the staff went above and beyond to make my friend and my stay a great experience. Our accommodation was perfect, it was spacious, clean and very up to date and modern. We both agreed that we would definitely stay again."
