"The staff were very helpful & friendly, & I even got upgraded to a wonderful double room. The room was clean, spacious & well appointed, including a fan which was hugely welcome on a hot day. The bed was comfortable & it was nice to have a relaxing soak in the large bathtub. Breakfast was good, with an assortment of cooked items (hash browns, bacon, etc.) & cold items (muesli, yoghurts, etc.), as well as a selection of hot & cold drinks. I was delighted with my stay & would definitely recommend...

"The room was lovely and the stay very pleasant. I didn’t appreciate the siren going off around 8:30 am. It was the fire alarm but it turned off a minute later, so obviously false. Thankfully I wasn’t asleep. I also felt the taps were overly complicated, style over substance. We really enjoyed our stay though and would definitely come again."

"The beds were very comfortable, but the fixtures in the bathroom could be better. The soap dish in the shower was very rusty and hanging off the wall. The sink taps needed a good clean. I tried using the hairdryer but it hardly had any power to dry my hair and looked unsafe to use as it went bright orange when I turned it on. I did mention this to a member of staff and he said he would bring me another hairdryer but he didn’t"

"Absolutely shocking experience. This was one of the worst hotel stays we've had, and it certainly wasn't worth the £93 we paid. The problems started as soon as we arrived. The lift was filthy, with rubbish, papers, and food packets scattered on the floor. It gave the impression that cleanliness is simply not a priority at this hotel. Room 229 was no better. It had a horrible smell, was dusty, and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. We specifically booked a **double room**, yet what we got...

"The most horrific place I've ever had the misfortune of booking. No air con, no window and a fan box that blew out hot air! Asked for a refund as the room was disgustingly hot. Menna, the manager refused this to Expedia and then denied saying it was her blocking the refund. She was smirking and extremely rude and unhelpful. This room was the most uncomfortable place I have ever stayed. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, all over the world with different climates but this was by the WORST...

"Very clean room and bathroom, full length anti slip mat for the bath. Excellent tea could have done with more on the room. Hotel close to town centre and easy to find. Advise that you patk in the car park under the hotel, entrance is before the hotel car park entrance. Pool, sauna clean and relaxing environment"
