"Great stay. Beth was really helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Would book here again no question. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t serving food in the evenings due to the coronavirus but the food from both the Hibernia pub and wavertree cafe was fantastic. "

"Comfortable and spacious hut. The plus was the air conditioner in 30 degrees heat wave. Good deal for the price we paid. The only problem was the spiders and webs - in the bathroom, on the bed, in the kitchen cabinets.. every corner of the hut. "

History is more or less bunk. Henry Ford Apt for this particular place as there is no history to speak of other than the fact that Macbeth, the character in the play, was given the the tile Thane of Cawdor whose descendants privately owned the beach before it became part of the Stackpole Estate. Must say though, the beach and the bay are spectacular. #hiking
