"I was very disappointed, as I booked a room in the black boy hotel, but was given a room in an outside Annexe quite a way from the hotel. Also we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with our luggage and no help. On specking with the receptionist I was informed the problem is with Expedia as they will not allow the hotel to describe the rooms correctly."

"Nicely refurbished hotel, excellent food and breakfast. Not sure I like the self service check in, not that it didn’t work, it did but just prefer the personal touch for a hotel striving for the boutique feel. Overall a nice stay and friendly staff. They missed cleaning the room one day which was disappointing."

"I can’t recommend Aberdunant Hall enough, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in April 2026 for our wedding anniversary, unfortunately our son was taken ill whilst we were visiting, so we spent a lot of time at local hospitals getting him treated. By the evening we were exhausted and hungry - we had booked a table at the restaurant but our son "

"Parking was easy, breathtaking views! Room was slightly dated and had some dirt in the room such as dirty fingner print marks on the walls & mold on the shower sealant... Staff were polite but also didnt seem to know what they were doing and could not find my booking for 10 minutes asking me multiple times to confirm i had booked there. Also had confusion over my booking type as expedia allowed me to select the 'pay at property' option (which was more expensive) then the hotel took the money out...
