The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. "Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise."

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable."

"Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. Our family room had lots of space and everything was clean. Breakfaat was good as were the facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi. "The location of the hotel is good and has an outdoor seating area looking over the river. The room was small but clean. It was noisy as we over looked the courtyard and people sat there were noisy. There is an £8 a day charge for parking. Seating in the bar was quite comfortable. It is not a good hotel if you can not manage stairs."
