"It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this property was. The pods were quite comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. The restaurant in the front area was very good. The location was absolutely amazing! Located right on the Royal Mile in a quiet back corner. Would stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"There are comfy hangout areas and great restaurants within the hotel."

"This hotel looks amazing from the pictures but the stay is quite different. The property is quite old, and the rooms are an anex part of the property- not in the actual castle itself. Clean enough, staff was very friendly but a bit deceiving from what is shown here. Updates beyond needed"

"It was ok for a 1 night stay. We didn't use any of the facilities. Not as close to the city centre as I had in my head but that was my own fault."

"The rooms gets really hot at night during the winter time and the thermostat doesn’t work. The lights also keep turning on while sleeping due to the sensor."

"A solid performer conveniently located near Haymarket Station (with an M&S!) for ease of train, tram and taxi travel."

"Great location, accommodated early arrival times on both occasions, very clean. Quick 20 mins to airport. Will stay again."

"Great place - immaculate, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable beds!"

"Nice hotel right downtown, close to airport tram station and airport bus. Also close to train station. Rooms have been updated as well as dinning room. I would recommend and I would stay here again."

"Good staff"

"The room is not big but good for sleeping. The layout is different than what we are use to but it works good. The shower is big. There isn't any space to open up luggage's and leave open. There isn't any electrical plug near the bed so I had to go 2 nights without my CPap (sleep apnea machine), It was ok because I was coming home after there but less practical and useful."
