"C'est un très bel hôtel, c'est déjà la troisième fois que nous y sommes allés. Nous avons profité d'une grande chambre. Les petits déjeuners sont très variés (sauf le dernier jour où nous n'avons rien eu alors que l'accueil savait que nous partions très tôt). Les serveurs font l'effort de parler Français. Le parc autour de l'hôtel est bien fleuri et entretenu et il y a deux piscines dont une couverte. L'hôtel est situé à 800 m du centre, avec une bonne grimpette mais il semble bien mieux que...

"We enjoyed the location of the hotel at the friendly staff at the reception. The food at dinner was not really great and the overall service in the restaurant for breakfast/ dinner as well. The coffe was old and cold when served, or nobody served one for a long time etc "

"This is a very beautiful hotel but I’m afraid some aspects of the design (which has won multiple international awards) is a triumph of modern design over practicality. Our suite had an open plan bathroom with a bath in the middle of it with the bed behind separated by a glass screen. The space in the suite, what a very comfortable queen sized bed and large windows on 2 sides, was nonetheless poorly used. "A lovely short stay at Enotel Magnolia. Our room was upgraded which was a nice surprise. The room was very spacious and comfortable and patio doors opened onto the garden and pool. The pool was lovely. There was a great selection of food for breakfast and the staff very helpful with our gluten free needs. The hotel is situated near a variety of restaurants and bars so a good location. "

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, and I am very grateful for that. They even allowed me to have a late check-out. The room was spacious, but unfortunately, it had no view — just a view of the parking lot. I absolutely loved the gym and the indoor swimming pool, and I also found the breakfast to be amazing! Overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay again."

"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!! Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable holiday!! ❤️ "
