One overlooked the pool and had a table and chairs but the other was a perfect spot for the New Year fireworks . I slept extremely well. "Beautifully furnished boutique hotel with very helpful staff. Rooms are well maintained and kept clean. The hotel restaurant does some great menu items so worth a visit. Breakfast buffets are fine but probably not to everyone's tastes. Location is next to the cathedral so ideal for a city stay with a difference - Funchal is a super place to visit and we hit the Xmas illumination that is world famous."

"Fantastische Aussicht, sehr gute Zimmer, gutes Essen, sehr freundlich. Toller Pool auch wenn wir ihn nicht genutzt haben. Wer es ruhig mag - Das hotel liegt Abseits im Westen der Insel. Es gibt aber ein kleinen Laden und eine Pizzaria nur zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Man kann gut mit dem Auto auf Entdeckungstour gehen. Das warme Buffet abends könnte etwas wärmer sein und die Küche im Apartment ist etwas spärlich ausgestattet. "
