"Our deluxe king was basic. The beds very comfortable. Jacuzzi tub on terrace. View of coconut trees and some flowers, but faced the service road where the workers travel and many trucks and delivery vehicles. The staff was 50/50 in terms of service. Some obviously enjoyed their work snd others rather indifferent. Everyone works very hard and are efficient. The food is incredibly great both in the buffet and the specialty restaurants, and you do not have to make a reservation except for Fusion. The entertainment at night in the open area is different every night. I’d highly recommend the Dominican show on Thursday night . They are truly proud of their country and very talented. Lots of families at this resort and babies. They have many kids’ activities all day and before the shows. I was told 127 kids while there early March . I’d recommend this place more for the younger set. Wet walkways, narrow paths to navigate the pool area by the beach, long lines at dinner time, rowdy Spring breakers, all made me feel a bit overwhelmed (I’m 75) "

"I payed for a king bed and when I arrived at the property late with a baby our room had a 2 double beds. When we complain the resort told us they all booked and that its not their responsibility for the beds and that expedia is responsible. When i talked with an expedia agent on premises he told me he cannot do anything so we asked for an upgrade or some additional amenities.. he said he would get back to me and never did. Also, one night at dinner my husband was eating shrimp and a mussels shell pierced through his gum. He was bleeding and all the staff kept saying : “its just mussel shell”. Dismissing the severity of the injury. In a whole i was really not impressed with my stay and the way things were handled. I would like some kind of compensation for all of this or refund. "

"We had bed bugs in our room, they didn’t spray the property to prevent insects. Food ok everyday mostly the same and cold . Staff didn’t speak English except in the reception. You had to take a trolley to get to the beach, bummer. Overall property small but cozy, nice pools, would not visit again "

"The facilities in the common areas (e.g., pools, lobby, restaurants, theater, etc.) were in very good condition; however, this is NOT the case for the guest rooms. The guest rooms lacked maintenance. (For example: the shower had only one door, so water splashed all over the floor outside the shower area when showering; the chrome on the bathroom faucets was worn.; one of the electrical outlet covers in the room was loose, and when I unplugged the cell phone chargers, the cover came off, leaving a hole in the wall; the shower gel and conditioner dispensers were loose, and one of them fell to the floor when I tried to use the gel; we asked the housekeeping staff to refill the dispenser because it was empty, but they never did; the air conditioning vent grille was loose all over; it looked like it was going to fall off at any moment; the door handle in one of the rooms was loose and fell off completely; we had to call to have it repaired; one of the curtains was partially torn at the top; the window in one of the rooms had shattered glass.... the mini-bar fridge sometimes dripped water..."

"Clean room, loved all the nice pools. The microwave unfortunate didn’t work. Great amenities, beautiful scenery. Only downside was not being able to get picked up for our excursions from the hotel. We had to go across the street. Very nice and friendly staff. 8/10 overall. "
