"It is a great apartment with lots of room, comfortable beds, quiet pool, beach access. We enjoyed the kitchen for making meals and the deck for entertaining and relaxing. The road to the property is rough but only for 1 block. The property managers helped us out twice due to power being cutoff. It has good security and is very quiet overall."

"We paid for upgraded room, access to a private concierge and expected premium services. Our concierge forgot my wife’s birthday extras and even with me reminding him. We could have had the same service not upgrading our room"

"Restaurants are good. Just the reservation system needs to be improved - you need to line up at the booking desk between 9am-4pm to make reservation. Many guests don't look at the menu before lining up. They browsed through the menus at the desk one by one and then decide which restaurant to reserve on which night. This makes the wait time very long. They should implement reservation using their Melia App. And you may not be able to go to certain restaurants during your stay because their capacity and open hours are not enough to fulfill all the requests. The nightly entertainment was a big plus for our stay. However the day programs are not always on time. Sometimes you just wonder if it will "happen" or has been cancelled. The resort has a great courtesy allowing us who have a late flight to use their facilities and buffet after checking out. We enjoy ourselves a couple more hours before heading to the airport."

"Cathrine is very welcoming and has great energy! Great dinning experience with David and senior Luis. We had an amazing view of the beach as well as great room service, both pools were clean and aesthetically pleasing great for pool selfies or group pictures and the Breakfast buffet was delicious lots of choices!"

"The hotel itself is stunning. It’s quiet and very clean. The food was the worst food I have ever had on vacation. Very little selection and tiny tiny buffet. Everything was cold and poorly made. Very few options for health conscious dining. The drinks were sugary, booze watered down, and inconsistent everywhere. Even the menu online did not reflect the bars. I asked what was in drinks and it did not reflect the menu. Could never get a consistently made beverage or a smile. Staff is cold, unsmiling and unhelpful. Was told wrong dining times by our check in concierge who stated we could not eat before 8 am. We told him we get up early to enjoy the day and go to the gym and he said no food before 8. On day 4 we found out it was open at 7! Gym is tiny, whole property pumps seriously perfumed product in the air, unorganized and few activities. Those activities filled up fast so they were only available to 13 people at a time and you can’t pre sign up for them. This place is surviving on the beauty and will suffer for the service and food. Would never return and would not recommend if you’d like to eat or drink anything palatable or have service with a smile or interaction."

"Everything was good except the check in...we waited almost over hour to check in....i think to expedite check in they should hand any paoerwork that needs to be filled out ahead of time...maybe change the check in procedure...etc you loose almost half a day just to check in...."
