"Though the immediate area surrounding the hotel is a little industrial (storage facilities and other warehouses), if you walk a little farther, you can easily access Prospect Park and all the wonderful restaurants and quiet streets nearby. The hotel itself seems relatively new and is exceptionally clean. Staff were more than accommodating; they were really kind to upgrade me to a king-sized bed, which I was grateful for."
"The hotel is newly renovated and clean. The staff is super responsive. Very much enjoyed our balcony and view of the city. The subway (Morgan station) is just 2 blocks away, although the neighborhood to walk through is a bit sketchy. Overall, for the price and amenities we would stay here again. "

"The only complaint that I have is that there were a lot of people allowing their children to run around in the hallway and yell, and the property needs to get more towel towels. No one should be only limited to two towels per room. "
"Stayed in so many rooms here over time I can confirm that almost all rooms have comfortable beds and w normal pillows. Havent mentioned in other reviews and it’s not appreciated enough that most of their bedsheets (and obv towels) are all cotton. Rooms are all almost identical, just small things vary room to room. I tend to like the smaller rooms usually but they are all slightly different in small ways, If you come just for one or 2 nights it won’t even influence your experience probably it’s...
"The hotel had heaps of character! I absolutely adored the room that I stayed in. You could very walk to the subway and be in Manhattan within a few minutes! I had forgotten to pack soap and shampoo, but it was no matter - the shampoo and amenities at The Box House were wonderful to use. If you are having an overnight, or an extended stay in NYC. Keep The Box House on your radar!"
