"Originally we only planned to stay here one night but airline cancellations required us to stay an additional three nights. Staff at the hotel were able to accommodate our needs and actually provided a room upgrade. There is some construction going on that affected parking but everything else was great. Pictures don't do it justice. The complimentary breakfast could be improved by adding a few more selections (eggs, bacon) but I'm sure this is just an American expectation. To be fair, there was plenty to choose from and all of it was good. Our room had a great view of the harbor and was only about 20 minutes from the airport. Drives from the hotel to the main sightseeing areas are short and reasonable."

"Solo traveller - Warm welcome. Everywhere clean. Very comfortable room. Lovely staff. Excellent choices for breakfast and dinner, good quality food. Prices are high but that is the same wherever you go in Iceland. Lovely spa and pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel. One thing I would point out, you must book a seat on the return bus to the bus station/airport. Don’t, like me, assume the bus will just turn up. If you don’t book it with reception it won’t come. The hotel is adjacent to a small private airport. I didn’t experience any disturbance from it. "

"Great location for northern lights and cozy spacious rooms! Host messaged about room number to check into 2 days ahead. Hot tub and sauna are on the roof of centermost rooms of property. Oddest thing was tea bags with sugar, but its the only place I've ever stayed with no coffee machine? "

"The shared area was lovely. The fridge was a little full, but apart from that, everything else was great. The hot tub is a must! The reception team were also very kind and helpful."

"The staff were very friendly, the airport shuttle is not included as I thought you still have to pay. They help arrange it and show you were the bus stop is and its just a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Wifi is great. Very nice hotel. I would happily stay again."
