My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights in March of '26. We really enjoyed it. The staff were excellent. Theroom was very nice. My wife's one complaint was that the bed was firm. I and my back were ok with this. There are beautiful views from the 5th floor. The area is full of shops and restaurants and the hotel restaurant has a delicious included breakfast. Walking distance to many sights. Only downside to being close to the city center was the late night noise and early morning garbage pickup. An easy tradeoff for us.

The canopy was the perfect spot for our stay in Iceland. Everything was top-notch. The staff were extremely professional and responsive. The daily breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone. The location is in close proximity to the city hot spots I strongly recommend the canopy.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in! The places is very clean and staff is great. The location is very strategic -- in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. My partner, who has a sever allergy to all tree nuts, was very comfortable eating there after staff took our concerns seriously and reassured her that her meals were safe from cross contamination. We ended up eating all of our dinners there because of this. The food was really top notch, too, which made our decision to eat there repeatedly easier. Highly recommend! Would definitely be staying there again in the future!
