The location has a number of dinner and coffee locations within a block. Right close to old harbour. Shopping is two blocks away. Best was Vladimir was instant in answering any question I had. Stairs only if you have mobility issues.

A second stay in this convenient location. Good breakfast and other dining options. Well communicated access via key codes and a storage shed for luggage if needed. Shower rates as best designed of all used on two week trip clockwise round Iceland from Akureyri. Mattress too soft and saggy. Room and bed linen felt hot. Basic shared kitchen facilities. No lift and stairs will be steep for some.

The apartment and common room were clean and well maintained. Needs were handled via email so response time varied but were relatively timely. There are store rooms on site with extra toilet paper and towels, however contrary to what I was told there was not extra coffee available. We got the breakfast which was delivered on time. Fruit was the same every day (apple) and I found getting both a roll and a croissant a little too much bread. Overall enjoyed my stay and would book again. Also this property very walkable to town and there was a small grocer around the block. Convenient!

Great location with easy walking to most of city center. Parking is NOT included as misstated on Expedia site. However paid street parking is available and reasonably priced. The apartment was a bit worn but very comfortable. The television did not work at all and one of the window shades did not work. Otherwise, the place was great.

The room was good. It was clean and I loved the location of the room, which was walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and downtown areas. The WiFi was terrible, however, especially for someone who relies heavily on it to communicate. The television barely worked due to the WiFi being spotty. Also, just to inform future travelers, Iceland restrooms tend to emit sulfuric aromas due to the underground volcanic activity. My room was heavy on the sulfur scent, especially in the shower area. The room is great for solo travelers or couples with limited luggage, as it was the size of a dorm room. Elena was very serviceable during my booking experience. I enjoyed my stay, overall.

We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find and check in was very smooth. Very walkable to great spots in Reykjavík. The only issue we encountered was parking but that’s not the host’s fault. Parking is either street parking or the parking garage nearby which was full twice (once at 9am and again at 6pm) when we passed and only had a few spots available at 5pm. It costs about $20 for the night. The actual stay was clean and comfortable, I would recommend.

We have Comfort Quadruple Room with private bathroom. We are 2 people in this booking. The room is bright and comfortable space. It is very clean in general except the shower place wall has mold between the tiles because it has no fan in the bathroom. The location is ok. It is not very far from the downtown. We walked to the tourist interesting points. The only thing I don't like is that it has no lift. We have to carry heavy luggage to 2nd floor. Luckily we are in 2nd floor. If we are in the 4th floor, I don't think we can do it. There is street parting in front of the building. We are lucky to have spot in both days.

Room was very basic, like a college dorm room—no rug, small refrigerator. We had reserved two twin beds and got one queen bed instead. When I emailed to try to get a room with two twin beds, the contact person sent one email with no information and never changed the room. Good location.
