"Highly recommend this beautiful winery property for a day visit, lunch, dinner or wine tasting. The staff is splendid and very accommodating; they want you to enjoy your stay. The property especially lends itself well for weddings or other special gathering event. It is less ideal as a lodging choice, as the rooms are quite vintage, though charming. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Fantastic hotel in a great location in Stellenbosch within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were a pleasure and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A real shame that there was major building work going on at the property next to this one as it did mean we couldn't really enjoy our balcony or the pool area as it was so noisy - it would have been good to have been advised of this in advance of the stay. "Gorgeous estate about an hour from Capetown. Top of the line amenities, lodging and excellent restaurants. Sunset views, vineyards and mountains. Staff was very well trained and no nickel and diming . Quiet and peaceful stay after a few hectic days in Capetown. Highly recommend. "

"My husband and I stayed five nights end of April 2026 at Coopmanhuijs. From check in to check out, the staff made our visit perfect. We stayed in room #11. The room was super clean, the bathroom very spacious, and the little balcony to relax in the evening was perfect.
