"Room and hot tub are ok. We are 3 people in one room, only two sets bedding, we need to setup the third one by ourselves! The food is not our favorite, both dinner and breakfast! "

"Best hotel we stayed at in our whole trip. The room was a much welcomed change to the standard small hotel rooms in Japan that we got for the same cost, breakfast buffet was good though the food was the same on the 2 days we tried it. There are plenty of good restaurants to try within a few minutes walk and the bus stops right in front of the hotel were convenient. I wish we stayed longer but will definitely be back on our next trip. "

"Long walk to get to the hotel, esp'ly with luggages, seems like only those who drive are welcome, you'd think hotel got shuttle from bus station to hotel front, but they don't. Then, once all restaurants close at the same time as the stores in outlet, you got no other options but to eat at the hotel's restaurant which only offered buffet at 5500Y/person; that would not have been a problem if they offered decent food, but no, way worse than food court quality, which made the whole experience less than decent. The view and the hot springs are the only good things left with this hotel."

"Nice hotel, nice staffs, great Mount Fuji view. The only drawback is the laundry facility. Dryer is not hot enough."

"Despite the beautiful location of the hotel, the staff and facilities were unfortunately very uninviting. No amenities were given and everything had to be bought at an extra cost. Additionally the hotel bar did not have change so you had to pay with the exact amount if you wanted to get a drink. Finally, the room itself was decent, felt clean but unfortunately the futons were extremely uncomfortable (and I sleep on Japanese futon very often). Don't count out hakone from your trip but I would recommend looking elsewhere if you plan on staying."
