"Room and hot tub are ok. We are 3 people in one room, only two sets bedding, we need to setup the third one by ourselves! The food is not our favorite, both dinner and breakfast! "

The room was a much welcomed change to the standard small hotel rooms in Japan that we got for the same cost, breakfast buffet was good though the food was the same on the 2 days we tried it. There are plenty of good restaurants to try within a few minutes walk and the bus stops right in front of the hotel were convenient. I wish we stayed longer but will definitely be back on our next trip. "

"Check-In staff are rude, but the cleaning staff did an excellent job maintaining the property. Amenities are good and the onsen is great! My only issue is with the check-in staff being rude and the poor sound level between the top and bottom units. You can hear the people walking all day long in the upstairs units. Recommend the property for a relaxing trip. "

"Despite the beautiful location of the hotel, the staff and facilities were unfortunately very uninviting. No amenities were given and everything had to be bought at an extra cost. Additionally the hotel bar did not have change so you had to pay with the exact amount if you wanted to get a drink. Finally, the room itself was decent, felt clean but unfortunately the futons were extremely uncomfortable (and I sleep on Japanese futon very often). Don't count out hakone from your trip but I would recommend looking elsewhere if you plan on staying."

"Room is good, but the shower room is on the ground floor same place with the hot spring, the bus stop is nearby to the train station, however there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby, you have to take the bus to get there, hotel is quite far from the train station that the bus fare is not cheap "
