The air conditioner is poorly placed and takes a long time to cool the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. "Establishment is the perfect mix of hostel life and people who want their own private rooms, although the private rooms are very small. Pool is wonderful (and open until 10!), and the bar and food are great! Location, location, location. Very close to the beach and Bangla Rd. People from all over stay here. To watch the pool area, you feel like you are watching Club MTV, that American TV show from the 80s where it is always Spring Break. Yet the music is never too loud and the room is pretty...

"Pleasant stay. Room with 2 beds and balcony, aircon, fridge, safe box, tv. Pros: inexpensive, breakfast included, shower hot water and good pressure, beds large, fridge cold, lots of inexpensive restaurants, shops, convenience stores nearby. Cons: location far from beachfront and Bangla Road, breakfast buffet has eggs, meat, beans, rice, but otherwise limited (no fruit or yogurt), shower is small and water will go over bathroom floor if not careful, rooms are worn and older, fridge is small,...

"Just awesome! Had the best stay at Liv Hotel. So clean and tidy. The staff were amazing (special mention to the bar guy, Smart and manager, Nick) and the restaurant had yummy food - especially their mango sticky rice was to die for! Walkable distance to the markets and many restaurants nearby. Beach view was the highlight! Thank you Liv. We will definitely be back again :)"
