"The property was disgraceful. We didn't stop there we booked somewhere else. Bed unmade not been changed from previous person. It absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. Rubbish on the floor in front room. Food left in the freezer. Tried ringing Muhammad but no answer."

"Centennial was a wonderful stop for a solo traveler. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and service was great. The rooms and spaces were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a wonderful stay and close to the Cambridge station. It’s about a mile walk to the city center, which isn’t as far as it sounds. Two things to note: there is no elevator, but the staff will take your bags upstairs if you need the help. If you are someone who is...

"Everyone was so friendly and made us feel at home. The room may not be fancy but it is clean. It is very close to the train station and a wide choice of buses to take to Cambridge. However, the 25 minute walk to the center of Cambridge is not bad at all."

"We usually stay here when in Cambridge. I think this was our first visit under new ownership. The place was great as usual. The staff were friendly but clearly stretched too thinly. We waited in the bar for service and eventually went elsewhere. The wait for breakfast to arrive was around 40 mins. It proved difficult even getting clean cutlery. When asked about our stay at checkout, we mentioned the slow service but got no response or enquiry suggesting it was a well recognised problem."

"Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...

"The bed was so comfortable and I loved the sheets! They were so soft, I didn’t want to get out of bed. Everything was so convenient and even our dog felt at home!"
