"Having a small kitchen in the room, is a big plus for me when traveling solo. The kitchen had everything to prepare a meal. Microwave, i suction cooking plate, dish washer, Nespresso, water cooker and a toaster.
For me the bed was comfortable. And USB ports were build in in the power outlets. The room was clean and air-conditioned. The room seemed to be sound proof. I didn't hear any neighbours. However it might be better to ask them as I do snore.

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Gonville. The hotel was excellent in every respect- beautiful decor, great restaurants and convenient parking. However, the outstanding aspect of the hotel was the wonderful staff. Every person we dealt with from the receptionists, to the barmen, to the housekeeper delivered perfect customer service. I’d especially like to thank Dante (?) the receptionist for taking care of us. Highly recommend The Gonville, Cambridge!"
"We loved our stay! My spouse and I were initially unsure about the shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The grounds were delightful, and while the room was small, the design made it feel just right—cozy and well thought-out.
Breakfast was a highlight: the morning walk to it added charm, and the meal itself brought real joy. The location was excellent—peaceful yet well-connected.
I would absolutely recommend this place to friends visiting the area.

"A nice, clean, modern property at good value for money. The rooms are all quite nice, with lots of essentials like bed-side USB charging. The only two gripes are paid parking (punchy at over 14GBP/night), and the tragic Nescafe in-room coffee."
