"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."

"Great place to stay if you are visiting Duxford. "

"Great food at dinner and breakfast however the room was freezing cold as hotel have not turned heat in yet . Portable radiator in room was on high the entire stay. Little things such as toilet running all night , heated towel rail broken. Could stay again IF other rooms had heat. "

"A nice, bright (double aspect windows) apartment in a very quiet close, on the edge of Cambridge. Clean and fairly well appointed (fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine, iron and board). No hairdryer as far as I can see. TV and Virgin box. Comfortable bed (I do hate poor mattresses) was a blessing. I'm sure that before booking it claimed to have parking, because I declined several other properties because they had no parking. "We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Gonville. The hotel was excellent in every respect- beautiful decor, great restaurants and convenient parking. However, the outstanding aspect of the hotel was the wonderful staff. Every person we dealt with from the receptionists, to the barmen, to the housekeeper delivered perfect customer service. I’d especially like to thank Dante (?) the receptionist for taking care of us. Highly recommend The Gonville, Cambridge!"

"We were given a room at the front of the pub, above the bar. The pub is on a busy road junction and so there is traffic noise! It was hot so we had the windows open, it was noisy, however, the windows are double glazed and there were ear plugs provided. There’s no air con but there were 2 fans in the room.
