"Great location, friendly staff, and a nice, quiet setting away from the busy street. The room was clean, the bathroom was modern, and breakfast was decent. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear some noise from other rooms, but overall it was a very pleasant stay."

"The shining hotel was a lovely place to stay in Hanoi. The rooms and staff were lovely and really enjoyed the pool/bar area, especially at night. The staff were fantastic as it was very hot and they did a great job up there"

"The staff and hotel were extremely accommodating allowing for early check in and providing ginger tea to my husband who had gotten food poisoning and to me who arrived on a very late flight. The room was excellent and close to nearby sights but not terribly loud. We would definitely stay here again. "
