"I’ve been staying at The Lucerne for over 25 years. The location is excellent. Two minute walk to the 1 train and. 10 minute walk to Central Park. The doormen are the most welcoming, kind, and friendly. Would not stay anywhere else. "

"This place doesnt have the best reviews but honestly the staff are real humans nice locals the bathroom and bed wss super clean . Its a rustic and old school hotel but for the price and location you cant go wrong . I would book again for sure . One thing i would mention if you book through a 3rd party the price does not include a resort fee per day which you will have to pay at check in . I was told to book through them direct next time ."

"This property is beautiful, and the room was thoughtfully designed with everything needed for a comfortable, luxurious stay. The valet and doorman were exceptionally kind and helpful, and it’s truly a dog-friendly hotel. The location is excellent, very safe and just minutes from Central Park in Columbus Circle, with everything you need within walking distance. The restaurant likely offers one of the best views in the area, and the food was outstanding. Service, however, was a bit slow, with longer wait times even for simple requests like water. That said, the staff remained warm and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend making a reservation at the restaurant. The gym was small and often quite busy. "
