"Another great visit to HBR. The staff was once again great. There weren’t as many people in both HBR and the larger neighboring properties, but there still was a nice amount of activities and entertainment, and the people (some usuals, some new folks) were lovely and good fun. "The property is right on the beach! We were unable to get in the water and use a lot of the amenities, like paddle boards, due to the sargassum (which is on every beach in the Riviera Maya). The restaurant staff were very attentive and the breakfast was good. They made us a to go meal on our last day. There is no other choice for meals in the area, so you need a car if you want to eat elsewhere. Taxis were $400-450 Mex pesos for a one way ride to the nearest village. You get 1 bottle of water...

"The best is the environment. Clean hotel, great with well maintained pools and beach areas. Excellent and prompt attention by the employees and wait staff. The food was just ok. A little above average but the policy of not taking food to the pool areas and no room services was a major letdown for me. And putting a set limit on the thermostat during the hot hot summer was very inconvenient. Overall was good but not perfect!"
