"丁寧な対応をいただけました。個室も清潔で使いやすかったです。空港目の前という立地、朝食サービス含めて総合的に満足度が高い宿でした。フロントのスタッフの方は日本語を聞くことはできないけど少し話せるとのことで、重要なことは日本語で教えてくれました。すごくありがたかったです。
１点、気になった点があります。
空調のリモコン表示がされておらず、温度調整ができませんでした。個室内があまりにも寒かったのでエアコンを消さざるを得ず、じとっとした環境での睡眠となったことだけが残念でした。"

"Stranded 1 night in Rio & exhausted. Booked a room at Modernistas Hospedagem e Arte because it's in a traditional touristic neighborhood, as opposed to the beaches. I already know (& love) the beaches but was coming to Rio after 2 wks on Florianópolis beaches. Missed my flight to US at Riogaleão, arriving after midnight. "This is a safe, solid, budget friendly hotel in the heart of the Lapa Samba club area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was decent for the price and area and I felt safe overall. "The condition of the room was fine, and the staff was super nice. The service itself wasn't so good. I requested several times for someone to come help me with the safe inside the room, and no one came up to help me even though they said they would. I also reported the phone inside the room didn't work on the first night, and they also didn't fix it.
The rooms don't have an iron to iron your clothes, you have to do this on a separate floor they have.
Sometimes they would last a couple of days...

"I love this hotel. This was my second stay in 10 months. My only criticism was check-in. There were 4 people ahead of me and it took almost a half hour to get to me."
