EL MISTI NUNCA MAIS!!!

Não poderia ter sido pior. Dias antes de eu me hospedar o hostel fechou, simplesmente sem dar satisfação a nenhum hóspede. Fiquei sabendo porque por coincidência resolvi passar la pra ver se estava tudo certo. Eles demitiram todos os funcionários, remanejaram os hóspedes sem nem questionar se o local do outro hostel seria interessante pra quem estava hospedado. Tive de correr e procurar um outro hostel de uma hora pra outra, que não atendia minhas necessidades que era de ficar em quarto feminino mas que era próximo onde eu precisava ficar. Um total desrespeito com o cliente. Nunca mais me hospedo em nenhum hotel da rede!

Localização excelente na praia de Botafogo

Ótimos atendentes fui muito bem atendido por uma equipe sensacional, quero agradecer o ótimo atendimento do Pablo, Nicolas, que fizeram a diferença na minha estadia! Café da manhã ótimo, para passar uma semana é tranquilo mais que isso é cansativo, pessoal que fica nas acomodações em quarto coletivo são muito animados e atrapalha um pouco para tentar dormir, o resto é ótimo.

Hostel meia boca

Hostel bem localizado no bairro do Botafogo, próximo ao Metro e diversos pontos de ônibus. Porém, a estrutura local deixa a desejar, pois, o sistema de acionamento implantado nos chuveiros não funciona corretamente, tendo que aciona-los a cada 10s para a água sair. O café da manhã é muito fraco e com poucas opções, sendo que os sucos servidos são todos industrializados e, também, o pão é seco e alguns outros ingredientes estavam velhos, quando estadiei lá. Por fim, a cama e o travesseiro são muito macios, sendo que você sente a estrutura da cama ao deitar-se e no outro dia, levantar com dores e cansado.

Fui a trabalho para a FGV; Não há o que descrever, tentarei; totalmente decepcionante; sujo; janelas sem vidros com pernilongos voando feito poeira; piso imundo; e muito caro para o que me ofereceram; tentei cancelar na mesma noite que cheguei mas disseram ser impossivel; poque eu ja havia pago 491,00 fiquei;

localizacao otima!

fiquei no el misti bota para um curso que estava fazendo . no pouco tempo que passei no hostel fui muiyo bem tratada! a localizacao é Otima! ao lado de metro hortifruti e lanchonete! tambem passa onibus e etc!

Good option but some important cons

It was pretty full and a lot of noise late night because of that. Staff is very nice and kind. No tissues on bathrooms and one shower with no hot water. Bathrooms need more attention to be cleaned more frequently. Breakfast was good.

Charged twice but solved after two weeks.

So, I was charged in my credit card when I made a reservation and I was charged in cash as I checked in. I only found out after my check out and called to the hostel. It took about two weeks to get an official answer but every thing is solved and I did not have any other problem. I will stay another night next week as a second chance and will make an assessment about the hostel. I think they should work better to avoid this kind of issue.

Friendly staff with good access to WiFi. Excellent location in Botafogo. Had a 6 bed shared but was triple bunkbed and floor was loose so made lots of noise when people walked by into the adjacent shared room. Sprayed myself with mosquito repellent but was still covered so suggest bringing a net. Window would not keep shut. Barman was friendly but he had two nights off so the bar was not open which was disappointing. If your like me and you visit places for just a few days and to actually see them and not hang around in your accommodation and your on a budget then I would recommend.

Over crowded, dirty and unsecure.

To many beds in everyroom and only three crapy toiletts for more than 40 people. They turned off the AC from 0900 to 2100 and it got realy warm during the day. They kept the AC control in the reception so you had to walk up and down twice if you wanted to adjust the temperature. They promissed me a looked room for my extra bag, but it was allways unlocked and availeble for anybody so a few things got stolen. This was the worsed hostel I have ever visited.

Cheguei na portaria, me deparei com um bêbado, 3 garotas dançando forró, e 2 rapazes sentados em um sofá velho. Cozinha horrível! Banheiros pior ainda...quarto dava para dormir no trago. Estava com minha família e preferi perder o dinheiro!

Great location and staff but the conditions are :(

This was the only place of stay I found during the 2014 World Cup to be not too far from the beaches and not too close to the favelas. Stayed for 6 nights. Went to the beach by metro (Botafogo station) almost everyday. Also booked a tour to Sanguero samba school (80 reais) through the staff. The hostel can also help book favela tour and paragliding session near Pedro da Gavea.
