"It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel ."

"Staffs were wonderful , very clean clean kimono every day , food was good water tea and coffee also matcha available all the time . Hot springs , natural hot springs, sauna and steam room available , at any time . Respect the culture no shoes, but locker provided for shoes. Shoes were provided. Loved the place. "Great 3 star hotel , apart hotel. Positioned conveniently close to two stations plus if you are not afraid of walking 2 km, you'll be in Kyoto Station. Very friendly and helpful staff, always willing to help. Definitely stay again in the future "
"Well overall it is ok. Double meals was unexpected better than one can think.
Don't forget to prepare for Kyoto accommodation tax. I wish I could have paid together from the beginning.
However it is quite far from subway station so be mindful."
