This is a wonderful property to stay in, and if I were ONLY reviewing the apartment on it's own, this is a clear 5 star review. The property is clean, well maintained, the rooms were huge as advertised in the pictures and while we took a risk booking this, considering it had basically no reviews from anyone, it was such a pleasant stay. Obviously there's no room cleaning, but that's to be expected.
Just two minor issues. Firstly the surrounding area is basically a warzone. When we got there and I saw how bad the area around the property looked with graffiti and litter, my heart dropped in honesty. It's fortunate the apartment itself makes up for it, and the area is not too far from central, only took us a max of 15-20 min taxi to get into central Rome, and the walk to the Metro was about 10 mins, with easy access to the Colosseum etc within a few stops.
Anyway, second minor issue was we couldn't get inside the gate, as we were not told or given a passcode. Someone (I presume someone who lived around there) kindly let us in. Once I figured out how to get the key from the lockbox (was a bit tough, but first time using one of this type), and made it into the room, I contacted the staff who own the property (make sure you get a number) and the lady on the line assisted brilliantly.
Overall, a great property, just be aware of the limitations and that obviously it is not directly centrally located, but with great and easy transport links. A few good restaurants nearby too.
