Okay, for a short while

Good location, but the "hotel" is quite worn. The aircon did not work, the mini fridge leaked water, the toilet was loose and there was black mold in the shower.

Great stay

Great stay! The room was warm, large and very clean. I had my own bathroom even if it was not in my room. There was also a kitchen. The location is also well connected to Piramide/Ostiense.

Suboptimal at best

Communication was sub-optimal. We paid for early check in through a link sent by the business and when we arrived for our early check in we did not have access and had to call management. There was mildew in the shower. The air conditioning did not work well and it was very hot inside the room. There were keys to all of the rooms left in a desk in the hallway so that anyone could have access to them and we felt uncomfortable leaving our valuables in the room when we weren’t there.

Check in was super easy and seamless. The room itself was very clean and the AC worked amazing! In the room, the toilet seat was broken and the shower didn’t drain properly, but definitely not deal breakers. The location is alright, being a 5 minute walk to the train or a 30 minute walk to the colosseum. The location is alright. We were told by some locals that Piramide area is “dangerous”. It did seem kind of sketchy but we never felt unsafe walking around. Not the hotels fault, but we would probably stay closer to the city center next time as the trains only run till 11:30pm on weekdays.

I enjoyed the property for what it is, very easy way to check in and open the doors to the place. The room however left some to be desired, it was dirty the first night that I arrived, as if they prepared it last second before my arrival. I am talking brown stains in some of the towels and in some sides of the bed. The bed also sinks in one side of it, so I had to move to the other side. Nice and very easily accessible property owner, and the room was cleaner the days after I arrived. 3.5/5 in my opinion.

Recent review of Salotto Piramide B ( no n’B). I did a lot of research on various areas around Rome and this is one of the best priced rooms with a private en suite bathroom, If you are internet savvy with a phone plan that has data in Italy and are two people in a room, and this will be a OK stay. There is a main door to the building, a secondary door one flight up, and lastly, a long hallway with six rooms. Reminds me of staying with family, The room was decent and clean when the filtered water was a nice touch. A five minute walk to the Metro and two stops to the Colosseum and four stops to the main train station where you can visit other parts of Italy so, for those purposes, I recommend if you have a shoestring budget. Thanks.

Silverfish

The room was spaceous but we Found a silverfish in our bathroom which grossed me out a lot and the room was not very clean. At 9am when me and my boyfriend were sleeping somebody(the cleaning maid?) OPENED our door without knocking or Asking to come in. We were shocked!! Aswell as there is no aircondition and there was a sign that said no eating or drinking in the room, which was weird.

Confusing to find and not enjoyable to stay at

There is no reception / desk, the property is just a nondescript door on the street which opens using an online portal that you must for online before visiting! Even after registering this didn't work for me and I had to chase the owners on whatsapp to get access to the property which wasn't the smoothest experience. Rooms are ok but a bit dusty / dirty. Security is quite bad - the room keys are uncut which means any room can be unlocked with probably any key.. Overall I wouldn't recommend.

The whole "hotel" was actually just a converted apartment. They charged me an extra 100 euros for having more than the rooms expected capacity. I had 2 people in a "quadruple" that advertised 4 sleeping spots The keys to each room were practically a toy. They were just a metal rod with a nub at the end. Think the plastic handcuffs keys for children. There was a build up of calcite and mold in the kettle and the shower floods. The bidet had no water pressure or hot water. The washing machine was just sat in the room which was previously the apartments kitchen and there was no detergent to even use it. On the plus side: Very shot walk to the metro and the Chinese food on the corner was amazing.

Ich hatte keine Internetverbindung und konnte die EMails nicht öffnen, um die Tür zu öffnen, konnte aber mit neinen Begleitern rein. Ohne die, wäre ich nicht reingekommen Der W-Lan-Verbindungsschlüssel lag erst innen. Kann man den mit der Buchungsbestätigung zusenden? Bei meinem Zimmer 6 hatte ich als erstes die Türklinke in der Hand (war locker), im Bad war kein Licht und die Elektrogeräte (TV) ging nicht an. Für die Klimaanlage fehlte eine Beschreibung. Auf dem Tisch lag eine angerissene Packung vom Vorgänger.

La verdad que fue la peor decisión alojarnos en este lugar. Nunca vimos a nadie de la propiedad, si bien en la descripción dice qué hay concierge. Por otro lado, en la publicación dice qué hay un lugar para guardar valijas “resguardo de valijas”, sin embargo cuando lo solicitas no te lo permiten, por lo que no es posible salir a pasear en caso que tu vuelo llegue más temprano, o te vayas más tarde del check out. Tuvimos que pagar a un hotel para que guarde las valijas. Por otro lado dice B&B, y es mentira. No ofrecen ningún desayuno. Las instalaciones son horribles. Un edificio viejo, y un departamento igual de viejo y feo. Realmente es deprimente el lugar. Dice que incluye baño privado, y si, es privado pero tenes que salir de la habitación para llegar, y caminar todo un pasillo, en el que te encontras otros huéspedes. Le pedimos al dueño del lugar que nos deje dejar las valijas, nos dijo que no, reclamamos por lo que nos correspondía porque eso decía la aplicación, y nos dijo que entonces en vez de hacernos el check in a las 11 nos lo haría a las 15 (porque solo se había ofrecido a ingresar las valijas a las 11 porque tenía la habitación vacía)…. Pero nosotros no lo habíamos pedido hacer ningún check in temprano, solo dejar las valijas a las 8.30 am. RESUMEN: NO SE HOSPEDEN EN ESTE LUGAR DEL HORROR

É um B&B que vale mto a pena em relação ao custos e localização. O bairro tem metrô e trem perto, tem mtos restaurantes. Roma no geral é velha e suja (a verdade não mto dita mas..) então óbvio que o bairro Pirâmide tbm é. Mas me senti segura a noite por lá, saindo de restaurantes mais de meia-noite e indo andando para o B&B. O meu quarto que era o que quarto:1. Era grande e arejado. Cheguei e estava super limpo. Cama confortável. Chuveiro quente! Tudo tranquilo, porém sem luxo óbvio, pelo preço não podemos exigir um hotel 5 estrela.
