Rome was a highlight of our trip and it was ALL because of hotel Ripa Roma. The location in Trastevere was perfect. We walked to all the sites and had so many restaurant and cocktail bar options. The restaurant in the hotel was also good and hosted an awesome happy hour. The morning breakfast options were fantastic. If you have a chance to stay in room 805, the view from the wrap around terrace in incredible.

Great cost benefit

Really nice hotel, the decoration is really peculiar hahah! But it comfortable, the employees were polite and friendly, the room is clean and comfortable as well. The breakfast is the best!

Excellent, safe area close to very nice restaurants in the evenings. Easy tram line into the city. Modern deco style hotel with funky light up ducks outside, quirky statues in the lobby. Large room and bathroom was really big also. Decent buffet breakfast in morning. Staff were attentive and helpful. Was some noise from other rooms on occasions(not really Hotels fault I guess). All in all, a decent hotel and would stay here again if needed in Roma

The staff here was great! Breakfast had spot of options and some of the BEST tomatoes I’ve tasted in my life. My only issue was the AC in my room. It never seemed to get cool. They sent someone up to look at it & he told me being that the room was large, that’s why it couldn’t get cool. But I also feel like all of Rome doesn’t really have good AC. Other than that, 10 out of 10 for this hotel!

Ideal Location and Great Rooms

The location is ideal in Trastevere. The room is very confortable and clean, with all the facilities, and the Balcony is a plus. The staff are friendly and they were always ready to provide recommendations for local dining spots or assist with any inquiries we had.

Funky hotel with interesting decor throughout. The room was spacious, but some parts of the room and bathroom were a bit outdated - good products though. Breakfast was also good and lots of options - worth adding to your reservation. Front desk staff was really helpful when asking about checkout/taxi service/storing luggage. Fair warning that if you ask for them to order a taxi to the airport, the fixed 55€ taxi rate to FCO applies but they also add another 10€ for the hotel pick up. We were sure we were getting the fixed rate until it was time to pay at the airport. The taxi driver advised that if we just got a taxi off the street then it would have been 55€.

Great property in a very walkable location. Excellent service and value. I docked a star because half of our room lights weren’t working and they couldn’t fix it for our stay. We felt safe and the front desk was very helpful.

Most of the staff is great. The breakfast team was very nice to accommodate my diet restrictions. Breakfast is great, with lot of options. Big rooms, nice location. Room have a balcony as well. On the negative side, the room is too old, outdated, don’t believe in the nice new pictures you see online, I was very disappointed. While in the lobby and breakfast spaces you feel you are in 2030, in the room you feel you are in the 1980. Room furniture does not make any sense. Pillows are very hard, not fluffy or soft. Elevators are very old, it shakes and makes a lot of noise, doors does not close fully (it was a bit scary every time we go into the elevator).
