Unfortunately I was unable to eat dinner there because there was a private function but breakfasts were good. The front desk staff were friendly and gave me a great alternative suggestion for dinner. It was very warm out, having the pool available would have been nice but it didn’t open until June. Overall beautiful hotel and lovely staff. My room had everything I needed for the short stay. Bed was comfortable. The one thing that was a little annoying was that there is a large gym on the ground level that seems to be open to the public and I could hear the machines and people very early in the morning even on the 3rd floor.

The hotel was okay, but the steps to get into the reception are a problem. At no time did the staff offer to help with bags. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros: Hotel was nice, very clean, comfortable room and bed, good breakfast. Cons: Hotel staff not very welcoming or overly friendly. All activities (swimming, exercise facilities) are an extra charge! I have never stayed at a hotel where I've had to pay extra for these amenities. There is a restaurant but it is not open for lunch and doesn't open for dinner until 7:30 pm. The outside grounds are in need of care. It could be beautiful, but the plants and shrubs are neglected, in need of trimming and watering. There is absolutely nothing nearby to do, not even a nice neighborhood to take a walk. It is very remote from all the tourist areas in Rome. It is a half-hour cab ride to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. If you are just looking for a relaxing place to rest it would suit your needs. It is very quiet. I personally would not stay here again.

Frustrating Stay from Start to Finish

We had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The AC in our room was broken, which made our stay very uncomfortable. In addition, we had arranged for a car service to pick us up from the airport, but there was a problem with the service. I had to call to find out what was going on, and in the end, we had to find our own taxi to get to the hotel.

The dining manager was rude and unable to accommodate us for a dinner. The door card key was not working we had to go Back and forth to the reception desk. Ended up giving us the actual manual key. The toilet wont flush and broken.

Not 4 star as advertised

Grounds were run down and unkempt. Facilities were well used and grubby. Restraunt waitress was rude and food was ok at best. Took a while for food with the limited menue and it was luke warm. No kettle in our room or available, advised to purchase drinks at the bar. Hotel is not in an area with easy access to shops, restaurants etc - therefore if you cant eat in the hotel at night your stuck. Shower facilities were ok, although shower head didnt stay at the height set and the hairdyer was very old and barely worked.
