We could not be happier with our stay at the tree houses! We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was incredible. Coffee delivered every morning to our balcony so we could watch and listen to the animals, a great breakfast prepared every morning, and a night hike that we really enjoyed. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking excursions which were so fun. We took a day trip with Juan Carlos and saw so many things in a day that would have taken us 3 days otherwise. We 100% recommend to stay here.

The staff was so friendly, and it was an exquisitely beautiful setting. If you have mobility issues, this is not your place - the stairs are steep, and getting to the loft is with a straight up ladder - but if you can deal with the stairs you'll be fine, and it would be an amazing place for a family with kids. The road down to the river is well-maintained, and I enjoyed the relaxed hooting of the howler monkeys on my walk.

We were warmly greeted on our arrival by super-helpful Felipe. We had an early start our first morning and asked if a 6am breakfast (90 minutes before breakfast is usually served) would be possible. Not a problem we were told. I was anticipating that we might get a pastry. But instead we started our day with the most amazing home cooked juevos rancheros. Staying in the tree house was special. The jungle can be loud at dawn and it’s a drive from nearby restaurants and tourists sites but the experience and staff make up for that.

Beautiful setting and unique experience. The Toucan is very small and the ladder towards the top difficult to climb. Not for very young kids or kids afraid of heights like one of my daughters. The breakfast is freshly made and good although fairly basic (egg combination different every day with fresh fruits, single menu option). Wi-fi is unsteady but great at times. A/C cools the room downstairs quickly - it was hot but tolerable in the upper room. The walk to the river is great. The night tour was good but the guide was not a professionnal, rather a local person so not that knowledgeable about wildlife. The staff helps you get food delivered but the food we ordered was not great and the hustle to get it not ideal; that was the biggest disadvantage of the location in my opinion. Bring your snacks and drinks before you go! Also the tour with Juan Carlos are amazing and I highly recommend them to visit the area. A great rustic place overall!

We loved our stay at the tree houses! We were there with our 8 and 11 year old daughters and had a great time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with scheduling activities. This place was a great find and a unique experience. The bed was comfortable, and coffee on the balcony in the morning was delightful. The friendliness of the staff, delicious food, beautiful setting, guided night walk, and lots of animals made this a great four-night stay. Yes, there is a bit of traffic noise, and it's a bit of a drive to the hub of most activities, but these tradeoffs were worth it, and we would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay soooo much. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. I felt safe. I saw several animals (for free) I never thought I’d see. The breakfast was so good. The staff are insanely kind and respectful. If I ever come back to Costa Rica I will definitely be staying here again!!!

A fun way for the family to experience the jungle, surrounded by nature. The tree house was clean and equipped with everything you need and more. The property is filled with wildlife. There are walking trails to experience the animals and birds as well as a guided night hike. The staff were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend!

What a unique experience! Staying in a tree house in the jungle! Jane never had it this good. Coffee was delivered each morning to enjoy on your deck while listening to the birds and enjoying the surroundings. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff were wonderfully friendly. The night walk was so much fun and we even saw a red eyed tree frog and a sloth. Can’t wait to return.

This was such a unique experience. We loved the Night Hike in the rain, a must do. And the staff for breakfast is just amazing. We loved our stay at the Tree House Hotel and would have loved to stay longer. The Tree House is wonderful and has everything you need. The coffee in the morning is such a great treat. The property is beautiful and walkable and you see a lot of wildlife right there. We loved everything about it!! The best stay in all of Costa Rica for us. The night walks were great and educational too and I was so happy to be able to do it multiple nights and see different things each night.

Most unique place we've been! Loved hearing all the birds, frogs, monkeys in the trees surrounding us. The homemade morning breakfast with the group was such a special touch, I miss it now that we are home! The treehouse itself was clean, simple, wi fi free and had all we need (mini fridge, safe, clean towels). We slept like babies, and the front staff were always more than accomadating for help with ordering food, rides, suggestions about the area and just generally nice and helpful! We already told our travel friends to go check this place out! Kids will love it too, esp the night hikes!! The dogs that live there are also so sweet!!
