"The location was great. Bathrooms had mould in the bathrooms. The walls were so thin that you could hear everything happening outside our room. If someone made a drink in the reception area and stirred the cup, we could hear the spoon clink against the cup. We spent our whole stay whispering, as the hotel is covered in “silence” notices."

"Walking distance to the Basilica and plenty of restaurants to eat at. Borgo is quiet. Frederica is awesome. She’s very helpful. Lolita who cleans the room, goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this place."

"Not a typical hotel or Airbnb. Cool apartments in a residential building. Fine location with plenty of shopping nearby but just far enough from the crazy crowds downtown, Monti and Trastavere but all still within walking distance. The manager, Stefano, was kind, informative and very helpful. No elevator but our rooms were just one flight up. AC worked well. A tasty bottle of Prosecco was included."

"It's important for travelers to know that this is not a typical hotel with a front desk, etc. It is 4 rooms off of a hallway on the second floor of a residential building. You must contact the owner (by phone) to arrange for a check in. We did not know this and it caused a lot of confusion/stress (we did not have a working cell phone while in Italy and could not find another means to contact them) but otherwise we had a good stay. The owner/manager is very friendly and helpful and even left us...
