We stayed at Hotel Saint Germain in july 2025,and had a pleasant experience overall. The building itself is a bit dated and has a boutique feel with only 12 rooms, but our room was quite comfortable and cozy. The location is excellent – there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and it’s close to the metro as well as the Bon Marché supermarket, which was very convenient. Breakfast was continental, with a decent variety of pastries, breads, and coffee. Eggs could be cooked on request, which was a nice touch. The standout feature was the staff – everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really made a difference during our stay. Overall, a charming little hotel in a great location, perfect for travelers who appreciate a quieter, more personal atmosphere.

The hotel was lovely and in a reasonable location. Close to Le Bon Marché & La Grande Epicerie De Paris. The rooms were modern a clean but you still felt like you were in Paris. The staff were absolutely lovely and went above & beyond to make sure we were looked after during our stay. My only negative would be that you could hear the subway trains at night and early morning, it’s wasn’t too loud but definitely audible.

Very sympathetic but needs a little brush up

Great location and nice, spacious rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Does need some light spring cleaning and minor maintenance: there is accumulated dust in areas that are not in the daily cleaning routine. We stayed in two rooms and in both rooms the bathroom scales were out of battery. No coffee machine in room.

This hotel was extremely great and its service was excellent. When I tried to park my car close to the hotel, the hotel manager kindly explained me the closest parking slot. They also monitored my car while parking in front of hotel. My mother forgot her poach with jewelers. Hotel manager sent me an email and let me know she forgot a poach. We could get her poach back. It happened sometimes we could not find out the belongings we forgot in the room especially for expensive goods. The people in this hotel were very kind, friendly and trusted.

A comfortable and spacious room by Parisian standards. The hotel is very small without the facilities of larger establishments but the room was comfortably equipped, the bathroom spacious and the location excellent. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Older people with limited mobility might find it challenging climbing into the deep bath to use the shower.
