"The Scotsman was right across the street from the train station making it easy for two with women with a lot of luggage. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The food was delicious and was available until late morning. The staff was amazing, and the concierge even walked us to the train station to help us find the right train to our next destination."

"I and my wife stayed over Christmas 2018 for 3 nights. All is fine. Just too small bed. Housekeeping service always forgot to put such things as Water, Shower Gel, Shampoo into the room. Breakfast is a kind of Continental one which are just bread and cold cuts. Staffs are all nice and friendly. Hotel and Room Condition is good. Location is perfect. "

"Fint sted at bo. Lille værelse og dejligt med et køkkent. Vi fik ikke forklaret, at hvis vi vil have toiletpapir og nye håndklæder, så skulle man hænge et skilt foran døren og det blev først forklaret 2 gang vi selv hentede toiletpapir. Det er dog det eneste jeg har at sige om hotellet, for jeg kunne helt sikkert finde på at booke igen ved det hotel. "

"Great location to explore Edinburgh. The rooms felt a little clinical with not much character, but were very comfortable. Great choice of breakfast. Good choice of restaurants and bars around and really close to Edinburgj castle. We chose the hotel partly becuase of the sky bar with the view, but this was only open on weekends, and children are not allowed, which had we known we may have chosen a different hotel. Overall a comfortable stay and lovely hotel."
