"The history of the hotel makes it very unique which is why we have given the hotel an excellent rating. There are though several areas which we feel the hotel could do better. 1) We had the Christmas menu but was very disappointed with the man course of roast turkey. It was excessively salty and the Brussel sprouts were strong in taste and rubbery. The location is excellent… Edinburgh is very tourist friendly and very walkable. We got to Edinburgh castle from the hotel in 12min (fast pace walk) Overall, I’d happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone "
