Loved our stay! So conveniently located and the staff was phenomenal. The dining room was a little pricey but not horribly so. Would stay there again on our next trip.
The hotel's location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff at check-in were extremely friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. I was impressed with how clean and well-maintained the room was, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The hotel is well situated in the center of Old Towne, halfway between Holyrood Castle and Edinburgh Castle. We stayed on the Executive level which had several benefits. A very good buffet breakfast, Hors d'oeuvres and drinks during happy hour(s). It was a great way to relax after a long day of walking around.
The staff was very helpful and had a map for everywhere you wanted to go. The room was quite, bed comfortable, and they kept the refrigerator stocked with water and cold drinks.
The hotel was not cheap, but worth the price, I would go back again.
Location was excellent in Old town, walkable to most of edinburgh. Rooms were very clean, plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits supplied each day which I loved. Plenty of space for luggages and to spread belongings around. Couldn't really hear the main road despite being so close to it and with construction going on right outside the hotel. Overall pleasant stay and would come again.
Rooms were clean, breakfast and lounge was well stocked and the staff were polite and helpful. The location is easy to get anywhere and though no parking, they have some discount while parking at the Waverly station car park. There's a lot of scaffolding and elevators are limited due to construction

Liked: Staff & service
Carpet a bit old and full of stains but staff were really friendly and helpful!!!
Location is great!
Rooms are smaller than expected but clean. I would shop price also because you’re not getting an American Hilton Experience here at this Scotland property and for the prices they charge I was expecting more. Lots of options in the area that charge less and experience will be the same. I don’t travel to Scotland to eat in the lobby restaurant. I want to experience the restaurants, especially pubs, in the area. I chose Hilton expecting more but served its purpose just fine. Staff is friendly.
Pros:
The hotel screams out location, it can’t be a better location for stay to absorb Edinburgh.
Staff is very helpful too.
Cons:
Breakfast variety is not great.
Path to room, lifts are really confusing ( but I can’t fully blame them as they are trying to modernise a castle which might be tough)
Temp works are on at multiple places which is little eyesore.
Overall: good value ( I just stopped saying great for now)
Excellent location, just a few yards off the Royal Mile. We easily took tram from airport & walked 10 minutes from St Andrews square with our luggage…lots of luggage! Delicious breakfast.
