"definitely not value for what was spent"

"We got a room with a fireplace and it was beautiful. The check in was easy and the staff was friendly."

"Good but not very clean"

"Very friendly staff and property was beautiful and clean. The free breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, very limited options"

"Over all were good. Nice and clean. Two points of concern. Firstly breakfast area was cramped even when there were not many guests. Secondly light sensor in toilet was either set incorrectly or malfunctioning. It would shut down light every 30 seconds. It could not detect people inside shower room. We had to slide open shower door every 30 seconds or taking shower in complete darkness. If it happened only to our room then it should be fixed before we arrived. If it happened to all rooms then it...

"Heat didn't work a little cold at 3am"

"A well positioned hotel/ motel within an easy 15 /20 minute walk to old fisherman's wharf. More budget friendly as the style of room is outdated and very simple. Very odd having the door open at the bathroom and sink. Lovely benefit to have an outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi which we used both days we were there. Staff friendly and helpful. Suited our needs perfectly as a base from which to explore and somewhere clean to come back and crash."

Was told at arrival that the fireplace did not work but they had a 2nd floor that worked but it was a Queen and a twin. We took it because it was rainy and cold and we thought it would be nice for a fire. That one didn’t work either, but we didn’t spend a ton of time in the room so it wasn’t a deal breaker. The beds were decent. Everything was clean. The ice...

"Hotel staff is very nice and supportive. Room is clean. Location is great."

"We were overcharged by $450 and can not reach anyone at the hotel to resolve the issue. We were charged by both Expedia and the hotel. Our room on the ground floor, #126, was next to the elevator, which sounded like a foghorn in our room and ran constantly. Staff told us it would stop around 10 p.m. It did not stop until midnight. Then it started up again at 5 a.m. Outside our door there was a LARGE built-in fan that ran constantly and made it impossible to use the patio because it was so loud....
