I knew that this was a 'budget friendly' hotel. It was no frills as expected, but clean and comfortable. There is little sound supression from the overhead room which was noticeable, but once they quieted down, there was no problem. Please note that they add a $100 'deposit' to one's credit card which I was not expecting. I assume that will be refunded right away in my case. The motel was in a quiet and safe neighborhood very close to Monterey, which was great.

I am a local and sometimes I just need to get out the house and stay somewhere so, I’ve always appreciated the staff and the price and the cleanliness of the rooms . They have really come a great job at keeping this hotel up to date with a fresh remodel, the ability to watch Netflix and YouTube etc.. in their in room tvs and they are always very nice - at all hours of check in - 4.5 stars for sure Dave Hopkins

Good budget hotel. The location was good and we were able to walk to the fairgrounds from the hotel. The beds were comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet. The refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker worked great. The room was really stuffy and hot and there is no air conditioner, but there is a ceiling fan. The condition of the room was pretty shabby, baseboards were grungy looking and the floor was pretty dirty. The water pressure was really bad, but the water was hot. Decent budget hotel.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a King room that included a convenient kitchenette area. Check-in was fast and easy, and the staff was friendly, professional, and provided great service throughout our stay. The property was clean, well-maintained, and parking was easy and convenient. The location was also perfect for us—close to everything we needed. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Great seamless experience! Super clean and did not have that icky motel feeling I was fearing. Not the cheapest option around but you get what you pay for! Blanket is a bit thin so request an extra before desk closes if you prefer, or can control with thermostat. Would highly recco this stay, thank you for being dog friendly!
