"Every single member of staff we encouraged have been 10/10! When we first checked in there were issues with our shower and despite it being late at night they switched our rooms for us. The shower there was great, bed so comfy, spacious, plenty hangers and the fridge was very helpful. As much as I love staying at the sandman for SunnyCon we may need to consider other options due to the lack of air con as the warmth of the room caused me to be sickly at times, the fan helps a bit but I think air con would be a good investment for summer months."
"Great hotel, well located near the metro and busses. The service was exceptional, with all the staff being cheerful and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and food/ drinks well catered for.
Recommended."
"My single room was excellent value. I was fine walking up the final flight of stairs but thought that the lack of complete lift access should have been pointed out. With the windows open it was not too hot. I had a good view from the very top of the hotel towards Gateshead. There was not much noisy from the railway during the night. The bed was comfortable. In future I will be booking directly as the hotel no longer included swimming pool access in third party bookings."
"One of the most immaculate, well located, cleanest, best appointed, amazingly-staffed hotels I have ever stayed in. I seriously cannot fault the place.
All the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and attentive, without being intrusive either. Everything in the hotel was pristine. I can genuinely say it was perfect."
